Fellowship & Program Expansion 

  • Spine and Foot & Ankle Fellowships are officially established 

  • The Center for Spine Health will be opening this fall 

Faculty Updates

  • Dr. Rachel Glenn (former resident) has joined our Hand Service.

  • Dr. Michael Spitnale (former resident) has joined our Spine Service and will be leading the development of a dedicated Spine Research Program.

  • We are also excited to welcome new Foot & Ankle and Sports Medicine faculty to our department, further expanding our clinical expertise and educational opportunities for our residents

  • Dr. Anthony Pumilia – completing a Trauma fellowship at Prisma Health in Greenville, SC 

  • Dr. Raees Seedat – completing a Sports Medicine fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, AL

  • 37 poster presentations and 23 podium presentations at state, regional, and national conferences in the most recent academic year.

  • 9 peer-reviewed publications.
